Hoglets Craft: Make your own wolf ears

Last week in Hoglets we had a performance of The Way Home For Wolf - a wonderful, heartwarming, animal-filled tale by the exceptional Rachel Bright and Jim Field. To go on our own adventures, we crafted these beautiful but simple wolf ears - so everyone really got into the pack mentality! For anyone who missed it - here's how to do it at home. You will need:

  • A Hairband
  • A piece of A4 paper
  • Some Felt-Tip Pens
  • A Pair of Scissors
  • A Glue a Stick

How to make your Wolf ears

STEP 1. Take the piece of paper and fold it in half horizontally. Take the scissors and cut the paper along the fold.

STEP 2. Fold the two pieces of paper in half again.  Take the scissors and cut out two wolf ear shapes, keeping the fold at the bottom. STEP 3. Colour in your wolf ears. STEP 4. Unfold the wolf ears and cover one of the inside sides with glue. Place the headband in the middle of the wolf ear and then fold it over and stick it together.Repeat this again with the other ear. Now you have your own pair of Wolf Ears. Let me hear your arrrrroooooh! Mama Hoglet. X
